Bugs, feature requests, account problems, privacy requests, press — all the same address. Writing from the email address on your account helps us find you faster.
Reporting a bug
A vague report takes three emails to pin down; a good one takes none. If you can, include:
- Your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 14, iOS 18.2)
- The Tutti version, from Settings
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- Whether it happens every time or just occasionally
- A screenshot or screen recording, if it's something you can see
Common problems
The tuner isn't picking up my instrument
- Check the microphone permission — iOS: Settings → Tutti → Microphone. Android: Settings → Apps → Tutti → Permissions → Microphone.
- Close other apps that might be holding the microphone open, like a voice recorder or a call.
- Play a sustained, steady note. Very quiet playing, heavy vibrato, and loud rooms all make pitch detection harder.
- Take the phone off the music stand and put it closer — a metre or so from the instrument works best.
- If you're on the web preview rather than the app, some browsers block microphone access on non-secure pages.
My practice data isn't showing on my other device
- Make sure you're signed in to the same account on both — an Apple sign-in and a Google sign-in with the same email address are two different accounts.
- Syncing needs a connection. Open the app while online and give it a moment; it syncs on launch and when you return to it.
- Anything logged while signed out lives only on that device. Sign in and it will be merged up on the next sync.
I'm not getting notifications
- Check notification permission — iOS: Settings → Notifications → Tutti. Android: Settings → Apps → Tutti → Notifications.
- iOS only shows its permission prompt once. If you dismissed it, you have to enable notifications in Settings by hand.
- Focus modes, Do Not Disturb and battery savers will all hold notifications back.
- Notifications don't work in a simulator or on the web preview.
I lost my streak and I shouldn't have
Streaks roll over at midnight in your device's time zone. Travelling across time zones, or logging a session just either side of midnight, can put a session on a different day than you expected. If a streak looks genuinely wrong, email us with the dates and we'll look at it.
I can't sign in
- Email sign-in: use the password reset on the sign-in screen. The reset link goes to the address on the account.
- Sign in with Apple: if you used Hide My Email, your account is tied to the private relay address, not your real one. Keep using Sign in with Apple to get back in.
- Still stuck? Email us from the address you think is on the account and we'll work it out.
I want to change my username
Profile → Edit profile. Handles are unique, so a name may already be taken. Your friends stay connected to you when you change it.
Account and data
- Get a copy of your data — email us and we'll send an export of everything on your account.
- Delete your account — see deleting your account for what happens and how long it takes.
- Privacy questions — the Privacy Policy covers what we collect and why. If it doesn't answer your question, ask.
Subscriptions and billing
If Tutti Pro is available and you're subscribed, billing runs through Apple or Google, not through us. That means:
- Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds go through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play. We can't process them for you, but tell us what went wrong and we'll help however we can.
- Restore a purchase after reinstalling by signing in with the same Apple ID or Google account that bought it.
Reporting a security issue
Email tuttipracticeapp@gmail.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue, and please give us a reasonable window to fix it before going public. Don't access or change other people's data while testing. Good faith research along those lines is welcome, and we won't come after you for it.
Feature requests
Tutti gets better because players say what's missing. If something about how you practise doesn't fit the app, write and describe it — the instrument you play, what you're preparing for, and where the app gets in your way. That's more useful than a one-line feature name.
